Birch Hills County is offering calcium chloride as a dust control agent this year. The cost for calcium chloride is $10.00 for each meter, with a minimum of 100 meters per application. There will be no cost share program for 2026. In consideration of the County’s gravel pits and as part of the aggregate levy program, the County will apply calcium to residences on the following roads:
- Tardif Hill south of Hwy 49
- TWP 763 East of RR12
Applications are available at the Birch Hills County Office or on our web page. All applications must be accompanied by full payment. Applications and payment for dust control must be received at the County office by 4:00pm on May 1st, 2026. Late applicants will not be accepted. Dust Control Treatments will start after the deadline if conditions allow and as long as road bans have been lifted
