In light of the current drought conditions and low reservoir levels, Council has adopted the following motion at the April 9, 2024 Regular Council meeting:
Moved by Councillor Bjornson
“That Council direct administration to restrict use of County
water for spray operations and commercial activities and further direct administration to monitor reservoir levels and provide Council a monthly report including consumption levels.”
CARRIED UNANIMOUSLY
As such, until further notice treated water will not be available for commercial or crop spraying activities.
